Take a quite stroll along a bayside boardwalk called The Promenade or along pristine wooded trails and sidewalks that meander the banks of the Susquehanna River and Chesapeake Bay. Our trails offer a variety of choices to fancy any level of fitness.
Paddle down Deer and Octoraro Creeks or catch a ball game at a Stadium built by Baseball legend Cal Ripken.
Hunting, Fishing and Boating are popular local sports as are horseback and bike riding. We are currently seeking tour operators to provide guides and equipment packages in order to expand use of these available activities.
At the present time, nearly 18 miles of trails are
complete. Major trailheads are located at the North Park, Rodgers Tavern,
Conowingo Dam and in Susquehanna State Park. Another 20 miles of trails
have been designed and we are currently raising money for construction
of major linkages from the Octoraro Creek to Port Deposit, the Veterans
Administration to Perryville Community Park and Havre de Grace to Susquehanna
